We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Biennial Criminal Law Conference,
which will be held on
October 15 and 16, 2026,
at the Faculty of Law of Université Laval, under the theme:
“Reflecting on and Defining Violence in the Criminal Justice System”
This conference will explore a concept that is both complex and multifaceted,
with constantly shifting boundaries: violence. In particular, it aims to foster a better understanding of,
explanation of, critical reflection on, and questioning of the relationships
between the various manifestations of violence and the criminal justice system.
The conference will take place from:
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Rooms 2151 and the Atrium of the Charles-De Koninck Building.
