Three-month internship, 10-15 hours/week
Location: Ottawa, ON
Role: The Canadian Criminal Justice Association is currently looking for a motivated intern to contribute to policy discussion and the drafting of policy documents. This internship will provide opportunities to network with government and non-profit professionals interested in the Canadian criminal justice system.
The ideal intern will have knowledge of the Canadian Criminal Justice system and have an interest in recent political events. The individual should want to promote improved criminal justice programs, policies and legislation (especially crime prevention programs). The selected candidate should want to work towards recognizing and repairing the harm done by crime to victims, offenders, the community and foster a greater public understanding of criminal justice issues.
