Communications Internship

Three-month internship, 10-15 hours/week

Location: Ottawa, ON

Role: The Canadian Criminal Justice Association is currently looking for a motivated intern to contribute and promote the association. This internship will provide opportunities to network with different government and non-profit professionals interested in the Canadian judiciary system.

The ideal intern will have knowledge of the Canadian Criminal Justice system and have an interest in recent political events. The individual should want to promote improved criminal justice programs, policies and legislation (especially crime prevention programs) through an active social media presence and various communication tools. The selected candidate should want to work towards recognizing and repairing the harm done by crime to victims, offenders, the community and foster a greater public understanding of criminal justice issues.
